Your Letter to the Editor Needed! 

Please write a letter to the editor or an op-ed piece for WVCAG's Health Care for America Now campaign to keep health care reform, specifically the creation of a public health care plan, front and center in the public's eye. When the media loses interest, the public loses interest and when this occurs progressive legislation tends to stall. Congress, as you know, is still formulating a public health care option. When specific details are released about the public plan that support HCAN's principles, we will need our supporters to keep the media even more occupied with our cause than they currently are so that we can apply enough pressure on Congress to act on this urgent, most important issue.

We Need One More Horror Story - Send Us Your Story!

We need your health care horror story! We will be using stories for HCAN's Health Care ’09-“Health Care Can’t Wait” Day of Action in Washington, DC on June 25th. You do not need to be attending the rally to submit your story.  Someone else can read it for you.

Please keep your stories short and to the point, in vignette format. Please include: name, contact info, age, profession, if possible a picture. We will need a signed release as well. One More Way You Can Help - HCAN Petition Drive 

Join us for our HCAN health care petition drive during FestivALL on Saturday, June 20 from 3:30-7:30 PM in Downtown Charleston. Help us reach our goal of collecting 5,000 signatures by year's end by donating an hour or two of your time for health care reform!

We will be meeting on the boulevard and collecting signatures in pairs.
