Health Care Halloween ~ Thursday, October 29

In Charleston

Join the Grim Reaper and others in front of Representative Shelley Moore Capito's Charleston office, MacCorkle Avenue in Kanawha City on Thursday, October 29 from 4PM - 5PM.  This Halloween-themed rally will remind our Congresswoman how important health care reform is to her constituents and how many West Virginians are dying each week due to lack of health care.  Come dressed in costume or just ready to hold a sign.  Help us keep the pressure on!  For more information, call 304-346-5891.

Other locations across the state

Organizing for America is having a health insurance reform bus tour across Northern West Virginia on Thursday, Oct. 29.  At each of the five stops there will be a brief rally for health care reform. Each event will be open to the press and will feature different speakers with each stop having a different theme/focus on the health care debate.

OFA is looking for more people to come forward and tell their health care stories and explain why health insurance reform is so important to West Virginians.  They would appreciate any state or local elected officials (and staff) coming to an event and speaking about why health insurance reform is so important to West Virginia. Below is the schedule.
