There is still work to be done to move health reform forward.

As the Senate waters down its bill, the House version still stands as a much better proposal. When the two are merged during the House/Senate Conference there is still a chance to make the final package better by including the best of the House’s language.

That’s where you come in. Please consider volunteering a couple hours of your time tomorrow, Thursday, December 17 at 5:45 PM to help us make calls to voters in Congressman Mollohan’s district to patch them through to his office. Their message to the Congressman is for him to ask Speaker Pelosi to hold the line and keep the best of the House’s bill.

You can come in to our office in Charleston to make calls or, no matter where you live, you can join us from your home or office if you have a computer with a high-speed internet connection and a telephone.  This is made possible by a state-of-the-art calling system. This computerized virtual phone bank will do all the dialing and send you live voters to talk with. A short 10-15 minute training by conference call will precede the phone bank tomorrow.
