 March 20: Stand Up for Working Families!

2:00 PM Rally at the Clarksburg Amphitheater (In the VA Park-Clarksburg VA Medical Center– 1 Medical Center Drive)

Open to the public and sponsored by the North Central West Virginia Labor Council, the Marion County Labor Council, and the Monongalia-Preston Labor Council. Union members are invited to attend and bring their signs and banners as we rally to support all working families.

Take exit 119 to merge onto US-50 W toward Clarksburg, take the VA-20 exit toward Joyce St, turn left at W Virginia 20 S/Marshall St, turn right at W Virginia 98 W, turn left to stay on W Virginia 98 W, take the 1st right toward Med Center Dr, and the VA medical Center entrance is on your left.

 March 22: Energy Efficiency in Action

Asbury United Methodist Church, 501 Elizabeth St., Charleston - 7:00 PM

Free and open to public. Speakers include Tammy Stafford with APCo's new $6.1 million energy efficiency program and Ted Boettner with the WV Center on Budget and Policy. Come and learn how the program works on home audits, rebates and more.

March 22 - WVEC Afterwork Green Jam. Empty Glass from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Entertainment includes Kodac Harrison, Chet Lowther, Kia Haynes and his band. Fun and food - come out and support the West Virginia Environmental Council!
