Support Verizon Workers Fighting For New Contract Last Year 45,000 Communications Workers took a stand against Verizon's bad practices that put corporate profit before workers and sell much needed American jobs oversees. The fight continues. In the last four years, Verizon’s top 5 executives made $283 million; and, from 2008-2010 Verizon did not pay any federal corporate income taxes, despite billions in profits. Yet Verizon workers STILL have to fight for fair wages, health and retirement earnings! Tomorrow, West Virginia Communication Workers will join with workers across America in a national day of actions that demand Verizon pay its fair share. Demonstrations will be taking place, tomorrow, Thursday, in Logan, Huntington, and Teays Valley. Find out more at We Are One
