FREE showing of “Hacking Democracy” at WV Film Festival Thursday, Nov 1st @ 9:00 PM at the Capitol Theater, 123 Summers St. in Charleston. As part of the WV Intl. Film Festival, Citizen Action and ACLU are co-sponsoring a showing of this HBO expose’ absolutely FREE with discussion afterward. Before you vote come see this eye-opener! As you will see in Hacking Democracy, voter machine fraud cuts across party lines: candidates of all parties are being targeted. As the public becomes increasingly educated on these issues, more questions will be asked by both the voters in the state and observers outside our borders. “Voting Machine Fraud” is one of the hottest issues during the November 2012 election cycle. Even mainstream Harper’s Magazine makes Voting Machine Fraud their cover story this month: “How to Rig an Election,” discusses the very machines that we are using in West Virginia. Billionaires & Ballot Bandits,Greg Palast’s new book also discusses machines that we are using in counties throughout the state. These voting machines have come under such unfavorable scrutiny that national and international election monitoring teams are visiting the state and across the country. Knowing that some of you may be traveling a distance, we have arranged the documentary to be shown at 9:00 pm. We hope that you can take advantage of this viewing but if you are unable to be with us November 1st, you can view the film at Black Box Voting - America's Elections Watchdog Group I look forward to watching Hacking Democracy with you November 1st 9 PM at the Capitol Theater Sincerely, Gary Zuckett, Executive Director, West Virginia Citizen Action Group, 304-346-5891 The Wild and Scenic Film Festival
