Act Now to Keep Your Taxes from Going Up Next Year!

On Friday night at 7PM I was on a national conference call with Jon Carson, Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, and Jason Furman, Principal Deputy Director, National Economic Council. They said that negotiations with Senate leadership will continue through Saturday but that regardless of the outcome, there will be a vote in the Senate on Sunday on the either an agreed-to bill or the president's short-term plan. At that point the nation can see who is for raising taxes on the Middle Class and who is not.

Your input is needed at this critical time!

If the Senate can pass a bill to keep taxes from going up for you and the rest of the 98% beginning January 1, the House still has to vote and send it to the president to sign.

Please contact all members of the West Virginia congressional delegation and demand an up or down vote in both houses on preserving the middle class tax cuts!

Both the House and Senate are working Sunday and Monday to try to come to an agreement.
