Register Today for the Building Conference!

IT’S ABOUT YOU
Do you live in a building? Work in a building? Build, remodel, or maintain buildings? If you own, buy, manage or sell buildings, power buildings, appraise buildings, demolish or preserve buildings, pay more than you like to heat, cool and operate a building, or know someone who does, The Building Conference | Expo 2013 is for you.

US AND THEM
The Building Conference pairs some of the best minds in the nation in design, business, and education with our best minds in the region. Come, join others who make the most of our region’s assets—including our brains, resources and ideas.

SAVE
Learn no-cost, low-cost ways to save money as we collectively create and improve our built environment. Skeptical about the green, sustainable and smart movement? Wary of change? All the more reason to be there. You’ll learn what the old-timers got right, and about new techniques and materials that improve health, safety, and efficiency.

YOUR PLACE
It’s about more than buildings. It’s about revitalizing communities, creating self-sustaining places where students, families, entrepreneurs, and innovators can choose to invest their talent and pursue their interests.

LEARN. CONNECT. INSPIRE. BE INSPIRED.
Come prepared to hit the ground running at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 31, with a star-studded lineup of local and national innovators. Mingle with thought leaders, suppliers, policy experts, building owners, and municipal leaders focused on high performance, quality of place, affordability, and return on investment.

On Friday, network around technical sessions in four tracks designed to answer your questions about efficiency, design, retrofits, and more. Get free advice, pre-qualify experts you may want to work with—or for—and steal ideas from some of the best. Friday evening, enjoy Ignite @ The Building Conference, the presentational equivalent of the 50-yard dash, five minute talks that leave everyone a little breathless and remarkably invigorated.

Saturday, February 2, the Mind Garage opens, where you’ll meet emerging professionals who are already racking up 21st century successes. Hear Reality Check panelists dish on important trends and mind-bending collaborations. The conference ends with the Placemaker Awards, a celebration of local and regional leaders in design and community revitalization.

BE THERE. BRING OTHERS.
It’s affordable, just $199 per person for conference registration and a conference hotel rate at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown of $109.00 per night, plus taxes.
