For months, West Virginians from across our state have been calling on Senator Capito to hold a public town hall meeting with her constituents. We’ve sent hundreds of “Wish you were here!” postcards, made phone calls and shown up at regional offices across the state to attempt to get meetings.
The next Congressional recess started today and, so far, Senator Capito is still nowhere to be found. This is unacceptable. Meeting with constituents is the most fundamental aspect of democracy. Tomorrow April 11th, Indivisible groups across West Virginia are organizing rallies at Senator Capito’s offices around the state to ask her to have a public meeting during the April recess.
Join us at any of the following Rally Locations:
“Wish You Were Here! Where is Senator Capito?” at Senator Capito’s Charleston Office, 12:00PM-12:30PM.
Directions: 500 Virginia Street East
“Ring around the Rally” at Sen. Capito’s Morgantown Office
Directions: 48 Donley St
“Beckley Wants to Know: Where’s Capito?” at Sen. Capito’s Beckley Office
Directions: 220 N Kanawha Street
