More than 30 organizations, including WV Citizens for Clean Elections, will be setup in the Upper Rotunda at the State Capitol to provide educational information related to women’s suffrage. WVCCE is encouraging supporters to come lobby their legislators and help spread the word about the need to protect voting rights and fight the influence of money in politics. The day is one of many events happening around the state in 2020 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage. View the Centennial Celebration Commission calendar of events here.
