Please join West Virginia AFL-CIO leaders, West Virginia union members and friends, for an in-person rally outside the offices of Senator Shelley Moore Capito on Thursday, July 22, beginning at 11:30 am, to urge Senator Capito to support the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.
Thursday, July 22, 2021 / 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Outside of Sen. Capito’s Charleston Office
500 Virginia Street East 25301
During the rally, Labor leaders will briefly discuss how the PRO Act, a labor rights bill, will reform inadequate labor laws and empower workers to exercise our freedom to organize and bargain. West Virginia workers will call upon Senator Capito to join Senator Joe Manchin and co-sponsor the PRO Act, legislation essential to making America’s economy work for working people.
It has been nearly 100 years without positive labor law reform and the TIME IS NOW to Pass the PRO Act.
Whatever time you can spare, please join Thursday’s rally to help reinforce the message … Senator Capito, West Virginia’s workers need you to support and co-sponsor the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.
NOTE: The Eastern Panhandle Central Labor Council will also have a PRO Act rally on July 22, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am outside of Senator Capito’s Martinsburg, WV Office. (300 Foxcroft Avenue 25401)
