Waging the Battle of Big Ideas: Narrative Change

On March 24th, from 12-1:30 p.m. Eastern, People’s Action will be holding an event with a set of special guest speakers from the narrative change field. We’ll be exploring how some of our peer organizations are thinking about incorporating narrative change strategies into their campaigns, the broader ecosystem of institutions engaged in the battle of big ideas, and what people think constitutes a “win” when it comes to shifting the narrative.

Steve Renderos, MediaJustice
Steven is the Executive Director of MediaJustice, a national racial justice hub fighting for a future in which all people of color are connected, represented, and free. He’s led campaigns to lower the cost of prison phone calls and win strong Net Neutrality rules.

JaNaé is the Communications Director at Faith in Minnesota, a political home for people of faith who are acting boldly and prophetically to create a new, people-centered politics in Minnesota — one rooted in abundance, where everyone is in and no one is out.
