WV Environmental Council’s E-Day 2023

Get ready for a day of citizen advocacy! Please join us for 2023 Environmental Day (E-Day) at the WV State Capitol on February 28th from 9 am to 2 pm.

Join environmental groups and concerned citizens from across the state to network and support WVEC’s legislative priorities.

This year, we encourage college students to participate and showcase their efforts toward environmental issues. Please let us know if you are in touch with any student groups, and we will invite them!

If your group is interested in having a table at E-Day or you would like to attend, you can register for free on our website. E-Day will include a rally with environmental activists and legislators to discuss critical pieces of legislation. We have compiled some important information here for those planning to attend.

Take advantage of this opportunity to support WVEC’s legislative priorities. Register now! We hope to see you there.

(Remember, you aren’t alone as you meet with your elected officials. Our partners at WV Rivers Coalition recently held a training on “Advocating Close to Home” to help citizen advocates learn how to call or set up a meeting with legislators and know what to say when you meet with them or their staff. Watch a recording of the webinar and access the links shared during the presentation on www.wvrivers.org/advocate.)
