First, we take a grated baking tray or just a grill for the oven, put it on one of the upper levels and turn on the oven, setting the temperature to 200 C. It is better to do this a little in advance, so as not to waste time waiting for the oven to warm up.
Put the white soft bread in a small bowl and pour the milk over it. Leave the bread to soak for about four to five minutes.
The bacon will need to be finely chopped, put in a frying pan and fried in such a way that it acquires a characteristic brownish hue and becomes crispy. You don't need to add butter, because the bacon will melt the fat quickly.
Place the fried bacon with a slotted spoon on paper towels. This is necessary in order to absorb all unnecessary excess fat.

Combine a spoonful of tomato paste with olive oil, stir and brush the meatballs with the resulting sauce on top.
That's all – you can send the meatballs to the preheated oven for about twenty minutes, after which you can serve them hot to the table.
