Public Hearing Community Events – Monday, Jan. 22, at 5:30 pm – The Public Service Commission will be holding a public hearing on case 23-0460-E-42T (Monongahela Power Company and The Potomac Edison Company). Along with a significant rate increase, this case includes a proposal to slash net metering credits in half (more here). Citizens can attend the hearing in person at the PSC headquarters (201 Brooks St., Charleston) or virtually through Microsoft Teams. Register here to participate in person or virtually. Two community events have been scheduled for residents to come together to support solar. At these events, the public hearing will be streamed, and registered attendees will be able to speak.
