DISMANTLING RACISM TOGETHER will meet by zoom on November 21 at 7 p.m.
Eve Faulkes and Susan Eason will present on the Listening for Racial Understanding project which they developed themselves. Working from the idea that personal experience may be the only thing that can open us from unconscious or conscious bias to a place of empathy and understanding, 23 people of color were paired with white partners for one-on-one conversations using active listening.
This presentation will follow the process and experience of their approach to our seeing one another as both unique and fully human.
