Environmental & Racial Justice Movie Night – Feb 18

Join us Tuesday, Feb. 18 for a powerful documentary screening in honor of Black History Month, highlighting the fight for environmental justice in one of America’s most toxic neighborhoods—the Ironbound district of Newark, NJ.

The Sacrifice Zone follows Maria Lopez-Nuñez and her fight against pollution, injustice, and the industries that treat communities of color as dumping grounds. After the screening, we will hold an open forum discussion on Environmental & Racial Justice and reflections from the film.

The first 50 people who register will receive one free taco from BG’z LA Taco—additional tacos will be available for purchase. All donations will support Black Policy Day.

RSVP Today to Join the Screening and Discussion!

This event is hosted by Fairshake Environmental Legal Services, West Virginia Citizen Action Group, ACLU of West Virginia, and the Black Voter Impact Initiative.
