We worked with the expanding WV New Jobs Coalition (www.newjobswv.org) on a six-city bus tour called the “WV Summer Jam: For The People, Jobs and CARE-a-van” that kicked off in Huntington and ended in Shepherdstown. All had music, food, fun for kids and a message that we need to bolster our democracy while at the same time creating jobs with a ‘fair transition’ to climate friendly energy and human infrastructure. SEIU-1199, WV Working Families Party, and Sierra Club we’re CAG’s major partners on this tour which also featured local door-to-door canvasses to encourage local residents to reach out to our Senators in support of a Build Back Bolder agenda.
