Hydrogen Energy Listening Session

As energy alternatives come to the state in the wake of coal, Hydrogen stands out above the rest. But, there are two types of Hydrogen energy production and one of them (Blue Hydrogen) is on it’s way to trying to weasel into the towns of weary Appalachians. Rather than solid investments in Green Hydrogen, the process for which is much cleaner, safer, and also provides jobs, the state could be faced with the very real future of settling for Blue Hydrogen. The Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations is holding a listening session to discuss just these implications in the state on March 27th @ 6PM.

Ultimately, the process for Blue creates MORE greenhouse gas emissions than just simply burning fossil fuels to begin with! Who’s to say that these emissions will be taken any better care of than the leaky gas rigs all over the state already?

If you wish to speak at the listening session, you must register by Sunday, March 24th @ 6pm. Listeners may register at any time. Technical support for commenting is available; please respond to this email or message us on social media for assistance!
