Some Inflation Reduction Act health care provisions have already started, and others are set to start January 1st, namely the $35/month insulin cap, which will save diabetic West Virginians on Medicare hundreds of dollars per month.Â
The IRA will also save 23,000 in WV an average of $1,530 on insurance premiums per year. That’s a Lot of savings, especially when considering how many are already living at or below poverty level.
