HB 4007 would cut nearly a quarter billion dollars a year out of the state budget and use a manufactured ‘state surplus’ caused by one-time federal stimulus dollars to fill the hole. In future years, drastic cuts to programs and services would be necessary to balance out the loss of revenue.
