On Monday, Senator Joe Manchin met with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Later that day, a dangerous lawsuit that threatens care and coverage for tens of millions of Americans advanced in US District Court, taking it one step closer to it’s likely ultimate destination and highlighting what’s at stake with Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Please contact Senator Manchin today and urge him to oppose Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Here’s what’s at risk:

  • Protections for 130 million people with pre-existing conditions when they buy coverage on their own
  • Improvements to Medicare, including reduced costs for prescription drugs
  • Allowing kids to stay on their parents’ insurance until age 26
  • Ban on annual and lifetime limits
  • Ban on insurance discrimination against women
  • Limit on out-of-pocket costs
  • Medicaid expansion currently covering 15 million people

Senator Manchin took more than 2,000 comments from constituents to his meeting with Judge Kavanaugh and says he looks forward to continuing to hear from West Virginians as this process moves forward.

Nearly 800,000 West Virginians and their families will be directly affected if this latest GOP attack on the Affordable Care Act succeeds in court. We must come together and let Senator Manchin know we’re counting on him to continue to protect our care, and that means opposing this nominee.

Too much is at stake.

Please contact Senator Manchin today and urge him to reject Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Yours for Action,

Team WV CAG
