Last week, President Trump announced his pick for the Supreme Court. Women, workers, children and families will lose if Brett Kavanaugh makes it to the Supreme Court. Big corporations, the 1% and Trump himself will win.

The bottom line: Brett Kavanaugh was hand-picked to be a rubber stamp on Trump’s anti health care agenda.

Here’s what’s at stake: protections for the 130 million Americans with pre-existing conditions, women’s health and rights, Medicaid coverage for low-income families, and so much more.

Kavanaugh will do everything in his power to overturn the Affordable Care Act (ACA), workers’ rights, and reproductive justice.

He was the sole dissenting vote in Seven-Sky v. Holder, a landmark case upholding the ACA. Kavanaugh declined to join a ruling upholding these key patient protections in 2011 and could vote against them again if a new lawsuit challenging the ACA should reach the Supreme Court.

Sen. Joe Manchin is encouraging West Virginians to send him their thoughts on the nominee. Senator Manchin has consistently voted to defend the ACA against Trump and the GOPs attacks.

Tell Senator Manchin to continue fighting to #ProtectOurCare by opposing Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

Yours for Action,

Team WV CAG
