As 2015 draws to a close, at WV Citizen Action we’re gearing up for the next WV legislative session which begins on January 13th – less than a month away!
For the past 41 years, WV CAG has been there to fight for open and transparent government with more citizen input to protect our beautiful state and its people. Over the years we’ve had victories and defeats, but one thing has remained steadfast, the support of you – our members and citizen activists!
Now’s the time to continue your support with a membership to WV CAG or a tax-deductible contribution to our WV Citizen Action Education Fund (WV CAEF). Either can be quickly done on-line or mailed into our office at 1500 Dixie St. Charleston, WV 25311.
Which is better? WV CAG memberships give us more flexibility for lobbying for a cleaner and greener West Virginia and opposing the polluters’ agenda, since most foundations don’t fund lobbying. WV CAEF is the choice if you need year-end tax deduction. Your support of WV CAEF will assist us in our public outreach on critical state and federal issues.
Either way, your support is an essential component of the work we do to make our state a better place to live, play and raise a family.
