Join us Saturday, May 17 at the WV Culture Center in Charleston, WV, for a night of music, memories, and momentum as we celebrate 50 years of Citizen Action!
We’re excited to feature live performances from some of West Virginia’s most beloved artists:
- Corduroy Brown is a feel-good Appalachian rock artist from Huntington, WV, known for his uplifting sound, crowd connection, and lyrics full of self-worth and gratitude.Â
- Kindred Valley is a six-piece indie folk band blending heartfelt songwriting and rich harmonies born from a friendship that began at Marshall University.
- Steve Himes & Joey Lafferty are a jazz and blues duo featuring one of the region’s best guitarists, known for smooth guitar, soulful grooves, and a fun, energetic style.
Schedule:
- 6:00–7:00 pm – Doors open for a Happy Hour reception with live music from Steve Himes & Joey Lafferty
- 7:00–8:30 pm – Speakers, awards, and concert in the Culture Center Theater featuring Corduroy Brown and Kindred Valley
