Join WV Citizen Action on Tuesday, July 30 at 10:00 am for an online talk on Medicare and Medicaid’s Birthday and why they’re so important for healthcare in West Virginia.
This year’s election will significantly impact healthcare. We need you to join in and share your thoughts on these vital programs and their future in West Virginia.
What We’ll Talk About:
- Why They Matter: These programs help over 150 million Americans get healthcare and have been doing so since 1965.
- 2024 Election: We’ll look at different ideas for healthcare – making it cheaper and available to more people vs. letting companies run it.
- The Future: We’ll discuss ways to keep these programs going, including raising taxes on companies and the wealthy, to ensure program longevity and improvements.
Together, we can push for more support for Medicare and Medicaid to ensure everyone can get the care they need.
