Join the West Virginia Climate Alliance, the WVU Law Center for Energy and Sustainable Development, West Virginia Citizen Action Group, the WVU Student Sierra Coalition, the WVU Environmental Law Society, the West Virginia Environmental Council, and the West Virginia New Jobs Coalition for a candidate forum on Thursday, September 29th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Doors open at 6:00pm and refreshments are provided at the West Virginia University Mountainlair Gluck Theater (1550 University Ave, Morgantown, WV 26506). Candidates from congressional district 2, senatorial district 13, and delegate districts 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, and 82 were invited to participate in this non-partisan, educational forum.
Voters will have the opportunity to hear candidates discuss the future of West Virginia around the theme of energy, jobs, and justice with a focus on climate change. Candidates will answer written questions from the public and partner organizations during this moderated and recorded event.
