Later this week (January 31 – February 2), Congressional Republicans will be meeting at Jim Justice’s Greenbrier resort for their legislative retreat. This is where Congressional leaders will be setting their priorities for 2018.

Together with hundreds of Americans coming from around the country, we will be gathering there to remind them of OUR priorities. We want a government that works for the common good – for all of us, not just a wealthy few.

Please join us. On February 1, we’ll be taking a bus from Charleston, leaving at 9am on Thursday, and returning that evening around 6pm.

You can register for a seat on the bus here, and we will follow up with more logistical details.

For too long, too many West Virginians have been left behind by our economy. Our priorities include universal healthcare, debt-free higher education, and a federal budget where the wealthy pay their fair share to fund the services we all need.

We reject political leaders who use racism and nationalism to try to pit people against each other and fight over scraps, instead of uniting in the belief that we can build an economy and an America that is big enough for all of us.

We are going to the Greenbrier to tell Congressional leaders that we will continue to oppose their plans to eliminate healthcare for millions of Americans, to divide and deport families, and to cut funding for vital social programs like Social Security and Medicare.

We hope you can join us. Please register here.

Yours for Action,

Team WV CAG
