On July 17, let’s unleash our collective power to create a brighter future. We are the change-makers, the justice-seekers, and the hope-bringers. Join us in showing that #GoodTroubleLivesOn and let’s march towards a world that’s just and fair for all.
Join us in Morgantown or Charleston or find an event near you. Together, we can make a difference.Â
Morgantown: Mountaineers Indivisible Citizen Action (MICA) is holding a candlelight vigil on the 5th anniversary of John Lewis’s death to honor his legacy fighting for civil rights, voting rights, & racial equality—work we must continue together today as this administration tries to roll back existing protections.
Signs are welcome. Bring a candle (battery-operated only; no open flames). Bring a friend! Visit and share their Facebook event here.
Charleston: Our hard fought for civil rights are at risk. Honor his memory by showing up United West Virginia’s event to hear speakers from our community and bring friends and family! Make a commitment to resist the Republican attack on Medicaid, SNAP food assistance, women’s rights, the rights of LGBTQ+ people and rule by a dictator and his billionaire supporters!
