The reality is that the bill will hand trillions of dollars in tax cuts to the richest 1% and wealthy corporations while triggering $25 billion in automatic cuts to Medicare next year, knocking 13 million people off their health care, and increasing taxes on millions of middle-class families.

An article in the New York Times over the weekend laid out “The Winners and Losers in the Tax Bill.” It’s no surprise that President Trump and members of his family are among the winners who stand to benefit, along with big corporations and multi-millionaires, while individual taxpayers, the elderly, and low-income families will pay more in taxes and face losing their health care and access to other vital services. 

We can’t let members of Congress pass their terrible tax scam while they lie to the American people about the real-life consequences of this bill.
