Healthcare is a human right, and all of us deserve affordable, quality healthcare. Yet most West Virginians that we talk to have trouble accessing or affording the care that they need. We will never get the healthcare system that we deserve until we organize people to demand it. That’s why, starting this Sunday, July 21st, WV CAG and Rise Up WV will be spending evenings going door-to-door talking to neighbors about their experiences with our healthcare system. This will help us prioritize what we want to work on in the 2020 state legislative session, as well as educating voters about Medicare for All! You can sign-up for a shift (or more!) here! And don’t forget to invite your friends to join you by sharing the Facebook event. If you’ve never gone door-to-door before, don’t worry! We will provide basic training and pair you up with someone more experienced. P.S. We hope you’ll join us for Rise Up’s summer picnic on August 4th at 2-4pm at Little Creek Park in South Charleston! |
