We wanted to let you know about a way you can be part of making West Virginia more energy efficient!
For a short time, your contributions to Energy Efficient West Virginia will be doubled due to a matching grant from the Blue Moon Fund. We were able to secure $28,000 worth of grants to cover part of the match, but need to raise a final $2,000. This is a great opportunity for your money to go further and for you to help make West Virginia’s economy more efficient and diverse.
Now is the time for your contribution to be doubled! There’s only $2,000 to go for EEWV’s $30,000 matching grant.
Your funds will go to:
- Litigating at the Public Service Commission for better energy efficiency opportunities for Appalachian Power, Mon Power, Potomac Edison, and AEP customers
- Advocating for legislation that helps promote an energy efficient economy in the state
- Engaging low-income communities to help them take control of their energy bills
- Empowering businesses and workers who provide energy efficiency services to have a voice in creating policies that will benefit their businesses and improve building efficiency
EEWV’s deadline is September 2nd, so don’t wait; now is the time to double the impact of your contribution!
