With the November general election just around the corner, we must remind candidates running for the legislature that there are many issues of importance to the progressive community. To address these issues, WV Citizen Action and other area organizations will be hosting a candidate forum tomorrow, August 25th at 6 pm at the WV Cultural Center.
The forum will be moderated by Ashton Marra of West Virginia Public Broadcasting, is free and open to the public, and will host Senate candidates from Districts 8 and 17 and House of Delegates candidates from Districts 35 and 36. Invite your friends!
Candidates will receive one question from each organizational host of the forum and one question from the participating virtual audience.
The event will be live-streamed on WV FREE’s Facebook page and live-tweeted on WV Citizen Action’s Twitter page.
