Press conference on HB 3001 “Medicaid Buy-in” bill: Feb 10th at 10AM

This very important bill, HB 3001, creates a solution to the Medicaid Cliff Effect by allowing people to buy-in to Medicaid who make a small amount of money over the Medicaid eligibility cap. This is a pro-work bill, as it incentivizes people to get more hours, a better job, a second job and not lose their vital health coverage. It is also a pro-family bill. Many couples put off marriage for fear it will put them over the eligibility limit.
