Virtual Medicaid Information Session on March 5: Join WV CAG and the WV Center on Budget and Policy on March 5 at 7 pm for a Virtual Medicaid Information Session, to learn more about the proposed state and federal cuts to Medicaid and other critical safety net programs, and what we can do about it. These cuts would disproportionately impact families, seniors, and children in our state, threatening access to healthcare, food assistance, and other essential services—all to finance tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. WV Citizen Action’s 50th Anniversary Celebration May 17: Join us to reflect on the work we’ve done together, look to the future, and spend time with friends old and new. The event features a happy hour reception and an anniversary concert with amazing local musicians like Kindred Valley, Corduroy Brown, and Steve Himes & Joey Lafferty.
