Charleston WV- WV Community groups will be holding a press briefing along with a physical-distanced roving Car Demonstration to underline their message that, instead of taking time to consider any Supreme Court nominations, the Senate should be doing its job and passing a second round of Covid relief to protect families from eviction, provide food security and protect front line workers.
Who: WV Citizen Action Group; WV Working Families Party; WV FREE Action Fund; Rise Up WV; WV Sierra Club and others.
Speakers will include Pastor Matthew Watts of the Grace Bible Church; Gary Zuckett, WV Citizen Action; Hunter Starks, Medicaid Mom; others TBD
What: Car-A-Van with signs will circle block of 500 Va St E, in Downtown Charleston where Senator Captio’s office is located. Speakers will be available to the press to make statements on the corner of Va St and Laidley. When: 12:15 PM on Thurs. Sept. 24th
