WV Senate rejects SB 600

THANK YOU! In another victory for ratepayers, Senate Bill 600 failed to get a majority vote today in Charleston.

Please send a message NOW to your Senator and politely thank them for rejecting the bill and for thinking of families, the elderly and small businesses.

SB 600 offered discounted electric rates to industrial users and manufacturers and would have put the burden of making up the difference on residential ratepayers, including seniors and families living on fixed incomes and small business owners.

    1. A YES vote was a vote to electricity bills for residential ratepayers and small businesses. Be sure to thank Senators who voted NO.
