March On for Voting Rights – Aug. 28th

8/28 – Lewisburg: Race Matters WV, in conjunction with its Community Block party on Saturday, August 28, will celebrate the 58th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic March on Washington. A special part of this community gathering will focus on the nationwide rally to gather support to saving democracy and free elections.
 
Race Matters WV has invited guest speakers to share important information concerning these matters. This segment of the day will take place from 12 Noon – 1 PM. The Community Block Party will take place from 11 AM to 11 PM at Dorie Miller Park, located at 451 Feamster Road, Lewisburg, WV.
