If you are a PEIA member who makes $28,101 to $38,101 per year, your premium will go up from $234 to $294.83 a month. With an extra $147 a month for a spouse who chooses PEIA over their own employer-provided insurance. That raises the monthly premium to $441.83. Border counties have to pay an even higher premium with 10% more. If you are a non-Medicare retiree, expect your premium to go up around 7%. More

Don’t Let the Senate Decimate the Budget
The Legislature's tax scheming continues with the Senate's new "compromise" plan, which would be devastating to all West Virginians when it blows holes in the budget, forcing more and more income tax cuts for the wealthy. Instead, we should be investing in health care, public education, infrastructure, and other public services. Tell your legislators: No tax cuts until our needs are met! More

Dental and vision health are vital and inseparable from overall health. This bill is a natural next step to expand health equity in the state of West Virginia. SB 610 and HB 3274 could be a huge step in eliminating the "Medicaid Cliff Effect".
